Meet Christa
My yoga journey began 15 years ago as a way to get some exercise and has developed into a whole person experience. From my practice I have learned that acceptance happens only when we are honest and open with ourselves. I have experienced the stress and frustration that can occur from pursuing what is not my passion and so feel compelled to share with others that which sustains me physically, emotionally and spiritually. My approach to practice is quiet, calm, steadfast and solid. I believe the practice of yoga takes both patience and courage to achieve one's full expression. Blending my favorite bits of many yoga traditions (including Iyengar, Vinyasa, and Anusara) I hope to promote a sense of balance that will leave students feeling energized and relaxed, calm and uplifted.
These feelings inform and guide my teaching and practice, which is focused on helping my students better connect to themselves and with their surroundings. I offer classes and private sessions to help my clients achieve healthier bodies and minds.
